What to do with those nice pieces of canvas that get cut away from your body tracings?

Have the kids use good-quality fabric paint and make a picture, let it dry well, make a backing with colorful fabric or the reverse of the front image...and turn it into a pillow with old scraps inside (never throw away those scraps!)

This was done by a 6-year old and came out very nicely with a little help using the needle and thread. His sister made a little doll.
